Program scope
Training matched to the assigned work.
Course scope is based on the hazards, assigned functions, response plan, equipment, and authority having jurisdiction. Training can be structured for awareness, operations, technician, specialist, command, and safety-officer functions.
California delivery can incorporate CSTI hazardous-materials course requirements. Agency-specific drills and documentation are planned around the organization’s procedures and the competencies it must maintain.

FRA & FRO
Recognition, isolation, notification, defensive actions, protective equipment, and work within the incident organization.
Decontamination
Contamination control zones, corridor setup, responder and patient decon, emergency procedures, and documentation.
Technician weeks B, C & D
Monitoring, identification, protective clothing, containment, product control, and technician-level problem solving.
Specialist weeks F & G
Advanced chemical assessment, specialized detection, tactical planning, and complex CBRNE response functions.
Incident command
Strategy, risk-based decision making, resource coordination, technical-reference integration, and incident documentation.
HazMat safety officer
Hazard analysis, PPE and control-zone review, responder safety monitoring, and support to command.
Delivery
Direct instruction in the operating environment.
Training can be delivered at an agency facility or operating site, using the metric or U.S. customary system as appropriate. Cross-border programs are adapted to local equipment, terminology, regulations, and response procedures.
Programs are personally led and delivered by Brent Dubois. Subcontracted instructors are not used.
